    Ahmedabad may bid for 2026 Commonwealth Games

    Even as the Gujarat government has begun putting up infrastructure for Ahmedabad to bid for hosting the 2036 Olympic Games, the state government has indicated that it could bid for Ahmedabad hosting the 2026 Commonwealth Games. This even as Australia's Victoria on Tuesday pulled out of hosting the 2026 Commonwealth Games, citing ballooning costs.
